Start
Your nature Pur Tour Puerto Limón starts as soon as you have left your cruise ship, right in front of the port in Puerto Limón. Our drivers keep an eye on your arrival time, so you don't have to worry if your ship docks a little later.
After you have met your driver and take a seat, your trip begins along the green Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Already during the drive you will get your first impressions of Puerto Limón, the tropical surroundings and the special attitude towards life in this region.
maratopia
First you dive into the tropical jungle garden of Maratopia. Huge blue morpho butterflies, colorful poison dart frogs and, with a little luck, free-living sloths await you here.
Since the sloths are free-living animals, we cannot guarantee that there will always be some. Most of the time, however, they show themselves to our visitors and provide special memories.
Also discover iguanas, tropical plants, exotic bird species and, with a bit of luck, howler monkeys to make you comfortable in the trees around Maratopia. In the rear of Maratopia you can see how bananas grow sun-ripened on their plants, Pineapple adorn the soil and pick up the tropical sun. Afterwards, a small fruit tasting of seasonal fruits awaits you, mostly from your own harvest.
After this relaxed start, head south to Cahuita National Park.
Drive to Cahuita
The drive to Cahuita takes you along the Caribbean coast, past palm trees, small towns and typical impressions of Costa Rican everyday life. Already on the way you can feel that this tour is not designed for the hustle and bustle, but for real experience.
You get time to let the landscape work on you before you arrive in the Caribbean town of Cahuita. This is where the second part of your nature pure tour begins.
Cahuita National Park
At Natur Pur Tour Puerto Limón you visit the Cahuita National Park. A beautiful, natural landscape awaits you in the Cahuita National Park right on the Caribbean coast. Here tropical rainforest, beach, sea and wildlife meet in a particularly impressive way.
During your stay in the park you can experience nature in peace. With a little luck, you will discover capuchin monkeys, sloths, iguanas, birds, butterflies and many other animals in their natural environment.
The path through the national park is pleasant and leads through an impressive mixture of jungle and coastal landscape. Again and again beautiful views of the sea, the beach and the green vegetation open up.
On the way back within the park, a beach stay is possible. If you want, you can go swimming there and enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere directly on the sea. So this tour combines nature observation, light movement and relaxed beach moments in one trip.
This tour is ideal if you don't just want to see Costa Rica, you really want to feel it: the sounds of the forest, the warm Caribbean air, the lush green and the special tranquility of a protected natural area.
After visiting the national park, head back towards Puerto Limón.

The process always depends on the arrival time of your ship and the timely return to the port.
Special note on pick-up time:
Our default start time is 8:00 am. When you arrive by ship, the tour starts as soon as your ship has docked and you are allowed to disembark. Then please come directly to the meeting point at the port exit, on the street side.
Book your tour and we will adjust the time according to the arrival of your ship. If your ship is late, our guides will wait until the ship arrives. All tours are carried out according to the arrival time of the ship.
