Note on WhatsApp: When using WhatsApp, the Privacy Policy of WhatsApp also apply. WhatsApp can carry out its own data processing, on which Maratopia Tours has no complete influence. Guests who use WhatsApp agree to the communication via this channel. Alternatively, contact by e-mail is possible.

7. Bookings and Tour implementation

When booking, we process the data required to organize and carry out the booked tour. This includes in particular contact details, tour date, number of participants, language, meeting point, pick-up location, boat information for cruise guests and special information about the tour.

This data is used to plan the tour, inform guests, coordinate guides and partners, and allow the tour to be carried out safely.

Guests can voluntarily provide us with health information if they are important for safe participation in a tour. This can include, for example, mobility restrictions, severe allergies, pregnancy, cardiovascular problems or other relevant restrictions.

9. Payments

Since Maratopia Tours usually does not require a down payment, payment data is usually only processed on the day of the tour or within the framework of the individually agreed payment method.

If payments are made in individual cases via payment link, bank transfer, online payment or via external booking platforms, payment data can be processed by the respective payment service providers or platforms. For data processing by external payment providers or booking platforms, their own data protection regulations apply.

10. External booking platforms and partners

If a booking via external platforms like GetYourGuide, Viator, Shore Excursions or other providers, personal data will also be processed by these platforms. In such cases, Maratopia Tours only receives the data required to perform the booked tour. For the processing of personal data by external platforms, their own data protection regulations and terms of use apply.

Some tour components can be performed by local partners (e.g. transport service providers, boat operators, equestrian companies, zipline providers, national parks). Insofar as necessary for the execution of the tour, necessary information can be passed on to these partners.

If external providers such as WhatsApp, Google, Meta, booking platforms or payment service providers are used, there may also be data processing in other countries. We make sure to treat personal data responsibly and only process it to the necessary extent.
