Your voyage of discovery starts once you leave your cruise ship, right in front of the port in Puerto Limón. Our drivers keep an eye on your arrival time, so you don't have to worry if your ship docks a little later.
After meeting your driver and taking a seat, your Caribbean jungle adventure begins. Already while driving through Limón you get the first impressions of the tropical environment before you go to your first destination.
Tortuguero Canal
Take a seat in the boat provided and enjoy the impressive biodiversity of this special water landscape. On the approx. 1-hour boat trip you glide through green canals and experience Costa Rica from a completely different perspective.
With a little luck, you will discover iguanas, sloths, exotic waterfowl, monkeys and crocodiles that lie relaxed on the shores or hide in the trees. The first beautiful holiday pictures are usually captured quickly here.
After the boat trip, it's back to your vehicle and on to the next part of your jungle adventure.
Your jungle experience of your choice
On this tour you decide for yourself how you want to experience the rainforest. You have the choice between a quieter nature experience on the suspension bridges or a more active adventure in ziplining.
This experience takes place at Brisas de la Jungla, an adventure park in the middle of the green mountain landscape of Limón. Tropical rainforest, wide views, professional support and a real Pura Vida adventure await you there.

Option 1: Suspension Bridges
If you prefer to experience the jungle relaxed and from a special perspective, the suspension bridge walk is just right for you.
On the suspension bridges you move right through the green world of the rainforest. You don't just walk through the jungle - you experience it from an elevated perspective, closer to the treetops, plants and life in the canopy.
As you walk across the bridges and paths, you can perceive the sounds of the forest, discover tropical plants and, with a little luck, observe animals in their natural surroundings. This variant is particularly suitable for you if you prefer nature, views and a calmer pace.
The suspension bridge walk is ideal for guests who want to consciously experience the rainforest without becoming too sporty or too extreme. Perfect for beautiful photos, special impressions and an intense feeling of nature.
Option 2: Ziplining
If you like it more exciting, you choose ziplining. Well secured, you glide through the treetops on steel cables and experience the rainforest from a dynamic and adventurous perspective.
At Brisas de la Jungla, the zipline experience takes you across the tropical landscape across multiple platforms. You will not only get adrenaline, but also impressive views over the lush green of the jungle.
This variant is ideal for you if you are looking for more action and not only want to see Costa Rica's rainforest, but really want to feel it. You float through nature, feel the wind and experience a moment that you will remember for a long time.
The ziplining is carried out with safety equipment and professional support. You don't need any experience - just craving a real jungle adventure.

maratopia
Then you dive into the tropical jungle garden of Maratopia. Hundreds of huge blue morpho butterflies, colorful poison dart frogs and, with a bit of luck, free-living sloths await you here.
Since the sloths are free-living animals, we cannot guarantee that there will always be some. Most of the time, however, they show themselves to our visitors and ensure unforgettable memories.
Also discover iguanas, tropical plants, exotic species of birds and, with a bit of luck, howler monkeys, which make themselves comfortable in the trees around Maratopia.
In the back of Maratopia, you can see bananas growing sun-ripened on their plants, decorating the soil, and papayas absorb the tropical sun. Afterwards, a small fruit tasting of seasonal fruits awaits you, mostly from your own harvest.
Relaxed, with lots of nice impressions and holiday photos, it's back to Puerto Limón.
Special note on pick-up time:
Our default start time is 8:00 am. When you arrive by ship, the tour starts as soon as your ship has docked and you are allowed to disembark. Then please come directly to the meeting point at the port exit, on the street side.
Book your tour and we will adjust the time according to the arrival of your ship. If your ship is late, our guides will wait until the ship arrives. All tours are carried out according to the arrival time of the ship.
