- Start -
Your exploration begins as soon as you disembark from the cruise ship, right in front of your port in Puerto Limon. Our drivers keep track of your arrival time, eliminating worries about potential ship delays. After meeting your driver and taking your seat, the journey commences towards the Tortuguero Canals. Enjoy a brief drive through Limon, soaking in the initial Caribbean impressions, and arrive at the first excursion destination.
- Tortuguero -
Take a seat in the provided boat and relish the rich biodiversity and nature on this water safari. No need to fear crocodiles; they relax on the shores, more interested in posing as photo models in the sun. Similarly, other wildlife such as iguanas, sloths, and water birds abound. After approximately 1 hour of boating, we return to your vehicle. Now, we head south to the next stop.
- Maratopia -
Immerse yourself in the tropical jungle garden, home to hundreds giant blue morpho butterflies, colorful poison dart frogs, and sloths living in the wild. While we can't guarantee sightings of the latter due to their natural habitat, they usually make appearances and you will see them cloder than nowhere else, making Maratopia a unique encounter. Discover iguanas, tropical bird species, and occasionally howler monkeys lounging in the surrounding trees.
In the rear area of Maratopia, witness bananas ripening on their palms, pineapple plants beautifying the ground, and papayas soaking up the sunlight. A fruit tasting of tropical fruits, mainly harvested on-site, awaits you.
Relaxed with a smile on your face and numerous beautiful photos, the journey continues towards Cahuita National Park. The travel time is approximately 40 minutes along long palm-fringed beaches, passing typical Costa Rican towns and local banana plantations. Upon reaching the Caribbean fishing village of Cahuita, your drive ends, and your next destination begins.
- Cahuita National Park -
Once again, take out your camera and prepare to capture the beautifully untouched landscape in the largest national park on Costa Rica's Atlantic coast. From capuchin monkeys to parrots, toucans, and much more, anything is possible in the national park. Many of Costa Rica's native species inhabit this area, waiting to be spotted by you. Stroll along the park's beach before heading back towards Puerto Limon.
If there's a need for souvenirs, we can schedule a stop on our way near Rio Banano. There, you can purchase mementos of your journey for yourself and your loved ones.
Guaranteed to be back in time, you can now leisurely visit the city park Parque Vargas on your own and soak in the Caribbean flair of Puerto Limon.

Special Note on Pickup Time:
Our standard pickup time is 8:00 a.m. If your ship arrives after 8:00 a.m., pickup will be 30 minutes after arrival. Book your tour, and we will adjust the time according to your ship's arrival. In case of a ship delay, our staff will wait until the ship arrives, facilitating your disembarkation. All tours are conducted according to the ship's arrival time. Pickup from the port is available.

!!! This tour is exclusive to cruise passengers. Please only book this tour if you arrive by cruise ship, as it only takes place when cruise ships are in port. Pickup is at the main entrance of the pier, just a short walk from the cruise ship. One of our drivers will be waiting for you with a sign with your name at the pier entrance !!!
